Controversy in Hazzard County?
On Friday a game was played between the Dekes of Hazzard and Hat-Trick Swayze, which found DOH taking home the win and advancing to the finals to face the Multiple Score-Gasms. However, the game was played 2-on-2 which violated the unwritten rules of the BCIFHL to constitute a "fair game". HTS challenged the game and it was discussed among the BCIFHL Board of Directors. As a result, The Dekes of Hazzard have agreed to forfeit their spot in the BCIFHL playoffs. The decision was made by team GM, Coach and Captain, Andrew Peski on Monday morning. "Just give the win to Harper, I've got a calculus test and I'd rather study." Peski stated on the matter. "...plus it would be better games because my players aren't showing up." he added. So as the Dekes of Hazzard see their season come to an abrupt stop, they will always remember the championship that could have been... Well maybe if they all showed up for once!
Ducks Eliminated
As of Friday, the Ducks have been eliminated from the BCIFHL playoffs by MSG. This means there will be a new BCIFHL Champion this year! The Ducks fought hard all year with MSG and this was by far the biggest rivalry of the regular season and playoffs. Better luck next year for the Ducks, and the best of luck to MSG in the finals.
